Wisdom of the Idiots; Part 5; - Water, and the non fluid nature of the local mindset
I went off to the Glastonbury White Springs with a friend, a bottle of distilled (therefore 100% pure) water, several empty glasses and a Total Dissolved Solids meter. This TDS meter measures the amount in parts per million of non organic solids dissolved in water. For the sake of comparison distilled water measures 0.00 parts per million (ppm). The higher the measure the dirtier the water, the less useful it is to your body and the worse it is for your health.
I proceeded to make measurements of both Springs and showed the results.
The tap water in a house in The Archers Way measured 180ppm.
The water from the White Springs measured 350ppm
The water from the Red Spring measured 550ppm
This data was freely shared and presented to any who cared to listen up there at the Springs. Responses were mixed – a very angry lady; a receptive young man accompanied by a cynical young man. Several sensible girls who quickly understood and more than a few who were utterly uninterested – aggressively or contemptuously so. The majority seemed to be locked into the paradigm that spring water equals good water. Alas, this not the case.
Among the data offered were documents from the world famous Mayo Clinic in which the good doctor Mayo says that most, if not all, gastrointestinal diseases are the result of non organic material in the body. He goes on to say that with water at 550ppm gastrointestinal disease is guaranteed.
When your kettle furs up it does so because dissolved solids of non organic matter are left behind when boiling water evaporates or is poured out.
Just as with the kettle, medical science shows that your body furs up with non organics. The results of this are heart attacks; strokes; embolisms; arthritis; gall stones; kidney stones; urinary problems and many more of these easily avoidable unpleasantries. In less than 24 hours, old men with prostate problems who drink only distilled water find themselves pissing like a stallion.
I should know!
Musashi.
In Wisdom of the Idiots; Part 6, we hear from three circus clowns on why they left to join the Police, and we ask “What really goes into a Mystery Pie?”
