The current situation
The Friends of Culdees are receiving a quantity of young native trees from the Woodland Trust as part of a nation-wide project of tree-planting. It is planned to start planting a hedge-row on 12th February 2012 and everyone interested is welcome to come and help. Please contact us for further information.
Physically, they have some 120 acres in rural Scotland where they are working on project. To help generate some income to fund the project they run Culdees Bunkhouse to provide an accommodation service. You can read in their Manifesto* about their ideas and the aims they wish to implement. They operate under a charitable trust and are at present exploring the implementation of sociocratic principles of organisation. Please be aware that there is much work needed to be done. They invite people who can relate to their ideas and who are interested in helping them achieve their objective to get in touch with them.
