Expectations of guests and visitors
No visitors or guests will be allowed permanent residence with-in a group, unless the right has been earned and agreed upon by the group.
Any visitor arriving on site must have been invited by a communal resident or a trusted source.
No visitors will be allowed on site unless prior agreement has been established by the resident group.
Visitors staying overnight will be expected to join in, working on what-ever projects are deemed important.
Donations/contributions for supplies are always greatly appreciated.
We welcome hard working, intelligent and skilled individuals with a free-thinking outlook to provide labour and share knowledge. If you are observed to be lacking in these basic requirements, you will not be asked to return.
Everything has a place, and everything should be returned to its allotted place.
Small children and pets must be supervised at all times.
Assistance with communal chores is required at all times.
Respect! These are our homes, please respect them and our personal/private spaces.
Tours of the site, whether land or buildings; are out of bounds unless by invitation by a resident.
No photographic footage to be recorded of residents/buildings/land without prior consent.
All photographic footage taken is with the understanding that it is strictly for personal use only, and not to be aired on the internet without the consent of the individuals in the recordings and images.
If your only intention upon visiting is to sit around and drink tea and chat, using the village as a weekend retreat, you will not be welcomed back.
We are a serious group of individuals who are here to create a new beginning outside of their society, and to offer an alternative lifestyle to those who come up to the standard.
If you do not earn your keep, you will not be fed and housed.
Constant failure of consideration will result in expulsion.
By fulfilling the criteria of what the community requires, you will be rewarded with respect and brotherly/sisterly love.
In all circumstances, given that the above obligations are adhered too, lodging will be catered for.
If upon reflection, the answer to “What have I done today that benefits the group and community” is nothing, then you are not contributing.
If you have a problem with the above obligations, then stay at home, you are not wanted here.
